Kenai's Sister
In September, 1998 we adopted a sister for Kenai. She came to us with the
name, Mia, which we liked and kept.
She was abused as a puppy and then abandoned when she was only 6-7 months old.
Someone found her next to the hiway under a bridge where she had dug herself
a shallow hole to lie in.
When they found her she weighed only 35 lbs, was very skinny, and had 81
wood ticks.
Fortunately she has really rebounded from her difficult start and has become
the most incredibly sweet dog. She's always eager to please, always a hard
worker, and always wants to jump up on the bed. She usually leaves the
garbage digging to Kenai.

Kenai and Mia together. Husky's can be the ultimate laid back dog, or the
ultiimate high energy dog depending on what they feel like doing at the
moment.
